My "Why"

I'm a very nostalgic person and value old photo albums & home videos more than anything. I feel incredibly fortunate that my great Grandpa filmed my paternal Grandparents, my maternal Grandpa filmed my Mom & her sisters growing up, and that my Dad filmed my brother and I as well. My passion for filming memories comes from all the generations before me. Every time I watch these videos I always cry, they are just relaxed everyday moments that are now cherished memories for me. They’re even more precious to me now, especially after losing my maternal Grandpa to Alzheimers and my paternal Grandpa to Parkinson's too soon and seeing other family members face illness. Getting to hear their voices and watch their fluid movements of enjoying everyday life has become irreplaceable.

I want to give my couples this same experience of priceless moments of each other and their loved ones on their wedding day forever captured in time. My hope is that they can revisit these memories again and again for years to come.

Booking Your Date

When you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a contract and invoice. All I need is a 20% retainer and a signed contract to officially book your date! After that I'll send over a wedding day questionnaire for you to fill out at your leisure!

Planning

Once the booking process is done, I'm with you throughout the entire planning process! Whatever you need, I’m here to help. We’ll stay in touch in the months leading up to making sure I have all the details!

Wedding Day

The day is here! It's time for you to fully enjoy and have fun with all your loved ones after all these months of planning! I'll be there to capture all the moments as they unfold for you to relive again and again!

Post-Wedding Day

After your wedding day has concluded it's time for me to start editing! I know you'll be eager to see your film so you'll get a sneak peek within 72hrs. After that I'll send you some song options to choose from for your highlight film. Once the song is chosen, I'll start editing your wedding gallery! Expect your film gallery in 3 months or less!

Delivery

It's done! Once your gallery is ready, I'll notify you immediately and send it through VidFlow. You’ll be able to access, download, and share all your films with your loved ones!

The Story Behind
The Evergreen Hour

When choosing a name for my business, I knew I didn’t want it to be tied to my own name. I wanted a name that reflected my belief in love as something enduring and ever-growing, not just a momentary peak on your wedding day. The term “evergreen” means “having foliage that remains green and functional through more than one growing season,” which parallels how I see love. To me, it symbolizes love's perpetual growth and resilience. I added “Hour” to signify the special moment of the ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long before I get my wedding film?

The process of creating a film can take me anywhere from 40-60 hours. Depending on the time of year, turnaround can be up to 3 months, but I will deliver your video gallery as soon I finish!

Can we pick our own music?

Music for your film must be licensed due to copyright laws. I spend hours making a playlist based off your music taste and the overall feel of your day from Musicbed. I then send it to you and you can choose your favorite!

Where are you based out of?

I am based out of SE Iowa and serve Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I am super flexible when it comes to putting together a payment plan! Whatever works for you as a couple will work for me!

Do you have any vendor recommendations?

Of course! I have had the honor and privilege of getting to know and work with so many professional wedding vendors. I have a list of vendors I love that I would share!
